COVID-19 RESPONSE STATEMENT

As you book accommodations, we understand the need for each of our guests to feel comfortable during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Rest assured, our priorities remain the same:  The health and safety of our guests, employees, and the wider community in which we live and work, are of vital importance.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Wesley Acres has instituted an improved series of stringent measures to help mitigate the spread of the virus.  We continue to follow COVID-19 developments closely, ensuring compliance with The Government of Ontario requirements.

Wesley Acres is fortunate that all our motel rooms have exterior access only and their own individual HVAC systems. 

 

GUEST SAFETY/ HOUSEKEEPING

Our rooms have always been cleaned with approved, disinfecting products that are effective in killing viruses, including COVID-19.   When possible, guest rooms will not be entered for 24-72 hours after check-out.  Additional stringent guidelines for our housekeepers have been implemented including the use of masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and frequent handwashing.   Every member of our team has been trained for the appropriate use of these products.  We clean all hard surfaces such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances with a disinfectant, spray-on liquid cleaner.  All linens and towels are laundered after check-out.

Wesley Acres does not clean rooms daily, ensuring that your room will not be entered by anyone other than yourself, for the duration of your stay.  Should you wish to have additional daily amenities or linens, we will arrange to drop them off outside your door.

As a reminder, we would ask you (or anyone in your party) to stay home if:

·         Anyone is not feeling well;

·         Anyone has been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days; or

·         Anyone has travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days.
