Position Title: Interim Executive Director
Employment Status: Year-round - Full Time/Temporary

JOB SUMMARY
The Interim Executive Director is accountable to provide leadership for the implementation of the objectives established by the Ministry Board Wesley Acres Inc. “not-for-profit Ministry”) and the Trailer Park Board (Wesley Acres Trailer Park Inc. “for-profit corporation owned by WAI”) in alignment with the Wesley Acres Mission and Values and reporting to the Wesley Acres Inc. Board on a regular basis.
As a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, the Interim Executive Director will lead by example in living a life consistent with the Holy Scriptures and will uphold Christian principles consistent with those of the Free Methodist Church.
The following positions will report to the Interim Executive Director:
a) Park Manager/Manager of Compliance & Safety (currently vacant)
b) Administrative Services Manager
c) Food Services Manager
d) Maintenance Supervisor
e) Harbour Ridge Camp Director
f) Other Wesley Acres Employees

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Ministry Programs- planning and implementation of ministry programs
b) Financial Administration- administer the annual budget and capital budget
c) Human Resources- recruits, hires, manages, supervises, trains and supports Wesley Acres staff
d) Communication- work with the communication team for regular communication
e) Facilities- oversee operations

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a desire to grow as a follower, and evidence of a growing relationship with God;
- Experience in leading or serving in a thriving Christian Camping environment preferred;
- Experience in planning and implementing ministry programs and events;
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated effectiveness in working with people to lead, support and mediate;
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing camping environment , and the ability to work in collaboration with and under the direction of the Board of Directors;
- Experience with competing demands and conflict resolution
- Experience in managing or working with volunteers;
- Proven leadership skills with strong oral and written communication skills;
- Knowledge of financial management; budget development, fiscal control and basic accounting;
- Excellent organizational and management skills including ability to develop a staff team and problem solve;
- Working knowledge of property/facilities management, building construction, operations and building maintenance;
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint/Canva, Outlook)
Park Manager
Interim Position
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Interim Park Manager
Reports to: Executive Director

JOB SUMMARY
The Interim Park Manager will have a heart for ministry and a desire to advance the Christian mission of Wesley Acres. The Park Manager component of this role primarily consists of effectively managing the day-to-day operations of Wesley Acres Trailer Park Inc., which is the for-profit corporation owned by Wesley Acres Inc., in alignment with the Wesley Acres Vision, Mission, and Values. The Park Manager is responsible for operations, budgeting, permitting and planning and ensuring all compliance and health & safety regulations are adhered to across all departments at Wesley Acres.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• In cooperation with the Wesley Acres Trailer Park Inc. (WATPI) Board, the Executive
Director, oversees the implementation of the annual WATPI budget.
• In cooperation with the WATPI Board edit the terms and conditions of annual lot leases
•In cooperation with the WATPI Board determine annual lot lease rates
• Work with lot leaseholders on permit applications including providing approval/denial of all applications.
• Monitor building projects
• Work in cooperation with all Wesley Acres Inc. and WATPI staff
• Balance the recreational needs and desires of lot leaseholders with the ministry and mission of Wesley Acres Inc.
• Ensure compliance to Wesley Acres Inc. and WATPI policies, procedures, directives and bylaws as well as provincial and municipal/county regulations.
• Manage lot leaseholder applications
• Assist with the Development and implementation of a capital plan for all Wesley Acres Inc. buildings, infrastructure, and property in partnership with the Facilities Committee.
• Ensure that water supply and treatment services are uninterrupted and operational at all times.
• Ensure all sewer meter readings are taken on a regular basis and reported as necessary
• Respond to all water/sewer system emergencies.
• Report all adverse events to the necessary authorities.
• Monitor and maintain all fire and carbon monoxide alarm systems
• Monitor and maintain Visiplex mass notification system.
• Monitor and maintain all security camera systems
• Monitor and maintain all Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s)
• Advise all managers and staff of health and safety requirements for particular tasks
• Inform Interim Executive Director of any violations of health and safety requirements
• Conduct spot checks on all managers and staff to ensure health and safety requirement compliance
• Provide all staff with and ensure completion of Human Resources training requirements
• Any other duties as assigned and requested by the Interim Executive Director Competencies

JOB SUMMARY
The Camp Cook will have a heart for Chistian ministry. They are responsible for the overall food service operation at the dining hall at Wesley Acres, including menu planning, cooking, food preparation, nutrition, safety, service, sanitization, and record keeping. The Camp Cook will primarily serve the campers and staff of Harbour Ridge Camp, the Summer At The Acres special guests, and the Wesley Acres seasonal staff.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide a menu that is diverse and nutritious

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Manage the daily operations of the Wesley Acres dining hall
• Oversee, with the Food Services Manager, the planning and preparation of menu items for Harbour Ridge Camp and Summer At the Acres guests
• Meet food service requirements for Wesley Acres special events
• Ensure safe and efficient preparation and serving of meals for Wesley Acres Special guests.
• Oversee, with the Food Services Manager, the inventory of food, equipment, and supplies and arrange for the routine maintenance, sanitization, and upkeep of the camp kitchens, equipment, and facilities while keeping safety regulations in mind.
• Promote practices that seek to reduce waste, reuse items, and recycle/compost as much as possible.
• Monitor employee performance and training to food service standards.
• Assist with other food services requirements as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in institutional or large food service setting.
• Knowledge of and experience in food service: ordering, inventory, food preparation, family-style dining, cleaning, and institutional kitchen equipment.
• Experience in supervising effectively.
• Experience at a summer camp or residential program would be considered as asset.
• Relevant training and certifications would be considered an asset.
• Food Safe Handler’s Certificate is required

JOB SUMMARY
The Dining Hall staff will have a heart for Christian ministry. They will perform a number of frontline food services duties ensuring a positive and healthy food services experience for all Wesley Acres Guests.

JOB SUMMARY
The Housekeeper – Lead will have a heart for Christian ministry. They will assist the Housekeeping Manager in performing all housekeeping duties as well as providing leadership and supervision to the Housekeeping Team. In addition to all supervisory duties the Housekeeper - Lead will ensure that all accommodations and indoor facilities remain clean and ready for use. They will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, cleaning washrooms, cleaning Porta-Potties and showers, and doing laundry on a daily basis. They should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure all indoor & outdoor public facilities are clean and acceptable for public use
• Ensure all accommodations are clean and ready for the arrival of guests
• Clean (vacuum, sweep and mop floors), prepare, and inspect all accommodations and indoor & outdoor facilities

JOB SUMMARY
The Seasonal Security Guard will have a heart for Christian ministry. They will provide exceptional customer service and ensure the safety for all guests at Wesley Acres and Wesley Acres Trailer Park. They will also ensure that all Wesley Acres policies are adhered to.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer all after-hours customer service enquiries and resolve any issues that arise
• Provide first aid as needed
• Patrol the property ensuring the safety of all guests and compliance with all policies
• Respond to emergencies and calls for assistance
• Activate Police, Fire, EMS when necessary
• Provide daily incident reports
• Other duties as required
