Wishing Shane Patton well, as he is doing the Thomas Hill Memorial Ironman this weekend. He hits the water at 4am (Debbi is excited to be joining him in the canoe) for a 3.8 km swim, then a 180 km bike ride, followed by a 42 km run...

There were 93 people in attendance and dozens who wished they were young enough to have joined in the fun. Talks are already underway for more Echo Lake partner events next summer!

Tonight we are having a beach party sponsored by Echo Lake from 8 - 10 pm. If you are young, feel young or want to remember what young looks like - drop by. Come join the fun and make some noise.

The greenbelt area around the entire island is for all to enjoy, by foot or in a golf cart.  For those with direct lake access, your lease extends no more than 20' from you trailer.  The rest is called greenbelt and is a public space...

I still observe many of you driving way to fast, often multiple times per day.
Relax, enjoy the view and wave at your neighbours.  Our speed limit in the park is 15 kn/hr.  If you have your foot on the gas, you are probably going too fast...
