The Men's ministry Program at Wesley Acres will include a tri-modal focus as it will ignite, equip and support men in their walk with the Lord.

2010 is Here! Woow!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I trust that your fall and winter has been a blessed one.
We once again celebrated the birth of our Lord during Christmas. Happy New Year!

Again … we look back on 2009 as a year of challenge and blessings as the Lord touched many of us through
The Word and Prayer. We experienced much through the different activities at Wesley Acres. These activities included the Quinte R.V. Show,
our Mens’ Fish & Chip Weekend, the two PanCake Breakies and a number of projects that were taken on by the men throughout
the 2009 season. Many men “stepped up and stepped out”! The men also had a great time in fellowship at the golf course. We were especially challenged by Steve Wingfield. His challenge?…. “Where do I find myself in ministry as a Christian?”.

Your Mens’ Executive has been praying that the Lord would give us guidance and direction in the program planned for 2010.
Through the winter we have had meetings to plan for an exciting season. Again…the Sugar Bush will be up and running (end of Feb ..start of March), The R.V. Show (outreach) and the Fish & Chip Weekend (with Gerry Organ as guest speaker). There are a number of projects that the Mens’ Ministry have taken on. (stay tuned!). The Family Camps( golf tournaments)….And of course..our PanCake Breakies!

With the number of changes happening at Wesley Acres…. this will be a year of challenge. This will be the year of trusting the Lord in
our daily walk. May we reach out to each other…become stronger in the Lord…..Step up and Step Out.

As John F. Kennedy said in his inaugural speech (with a twist)..”Ask NOT what Wesley Acres can do for you … BUT...what you CAN do for Wesley Acres”

	IGNITE - Men's ministry will seek to ignite men through events or activities which will serve as a catalyst in their relationship with Christ, their family, church and community.
	EQUIP - Men's Ministry will help men through the Scriptures and other useful tools to live out the call to personal holiness, integrity, and action.
	SUPPORT- Men's Ministry will support men in their Christian Walk. This support will happen through prayer, scripture reading and mentoring.

FUNCTION -To co-ordinate and plan Men’s Ministry functions at Wesley Acres. - To serve as a liaison between the Wesley Acres Board Of Directors, Adult Ministries Committee and Men's Ministries. - To support Men's Ministry functions at Free Methodist Churches and other churches affiliated with Wesley Acres in Ontario and Upper New York State.
