With 5 new cabins (accommodating 80 campers and 20 staff) situated on its own picturesque landscape within Wesley Acres 250 acres, the new campus provides youth a place to call their own. With plans for 4 more cabins and a central building(dining hall,chapel & gym) Harbour Ridge will serve as a self-contained Youth Campus, providing all the exciting activities, dynamic Christ-centred Messages, and engaging worship campers keep coming back for.

What a Glorious summer the Lord blessed us with this year. Thanks to the assistance we received from our many friends and supporters, we had a stellar summer in 2006 as, our summer youth camps filled to record numbers; commitments and recommitments abounded through the moving of the Holy Spirit; we initiated our “Extreme Sports” outreach camp; we implemented use of the new “Harbour Ridge Youth Campus”; we constructed a professional High Ropes Course.

It is this spiritual growth experienced at Wesley Acres that has the greatest impact on the campers lives, and kingdom of heaven. The gospel message and alter calls are offered at every camp, with an average of 78% of campers dedicating or rededicating their lives to Christ.
Having served as chaplain the last 3 summers and 4 March Breaks, I have been privileged to see so many overcome spiritual struggles, letting go of hurt and pain as they kneel at the cross.

I have been privy to watching as children choose to remain in worship for hours at a time, unnerved by the thought of missing TUCK.

I have been moved as youth in tears, thank-God for what He has done through them during their week at camp. I have been inspired as I hear stories of campers, sharing their deepest struggles, with their Cabin Leaders, doing what is often hardest for them, asking for help.

2007 promises to be equally as rewarding as we look to continue our efforts: Initiating our “In Tune” Worship/Music Camp; continue to upgrade the facilities at Harbour Ridge; develop new and exciting programs and activities; procure exciting new recreational opportunities.
