Wesley Acres has a number of opportunities for people to get involved.  As a Christian charity organization we depend to a large extent on volunteers to help us be successful in offering all of our programs and ministries.

Employment / Volunteer Opportunities

Cabin Leaders:
Are you between the ages of 14 and 21?
Are you a committed Christian with a passion for children?
Are you interested in serving the Lord by reaching young people with the good news of Jesus Christ through camp ministries?
If so then Wesley Acres, may be the perfect missions field for you.  
Consider applying to be a LITE (Leader In Training for Excellence) or a Cabin Leader this March Break and/or Summer.
Applications for March Break Camp are due by February 1st and for Summer Camps by April 1st 

Adventure Based Training: 
Wesley Acres is pleased to offer an exciting program that facilitates the development of team and individual achievement through experiential learning.  Activities include High Ropes, Low Ropes, Rock Climbing Wall, Simulate Search & Rescue and other team challenges and recreation. 

This growing program offers exciting opportunities for people to get involved.  If you are a retiree, University student, or have some time to volunteer this may be a perfect opportunity for you to participate in ministry.  We will provide you with all the necessary training to be successful.  Don’t delay; contact us now by phone or email to express your interest.  It will be a rewarding experience!
1 or 2 Junior Church Director:
Directing a program for children from JK - GR. 8 which runs at the same time as our Adult Tent services during FC1 and FC2.
High Ropes/Rock Wall Facilitator: Wesley Acres will provide you with 3 days training April 24-26 by the Canadian Ropes Course Company that will certify you as a high ropes facilitator. If you are a retiree,  University student, or have with free time during the week, this may be a perfect opportunity for you.
An honorarium is provided
Worship Camp Music Instructors: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Keys
Teach group lessons in the morning, direct a worship team in preparation for the Friday performance.
Each instructor volunteers approx. 3 hours a day to the program and then are free to enjoy the beach, the local community, or participate in any of the activities of the day. Take time for yourself to relax and
rejuvenate, enjoy the surroundings of Wesley Acres, good food, great fellowship, and the joy of watching young people step into the fullness of their gifting as worship leaders. Meals and accommodations provided.
Camp Mom & Dads: KC 1 & KC 2
If you are staying on the grounds of Wesley Acres, consider volunteering an hour each night, helping to comfort and settle our younger campers into bed.
Nurse: Teen Camp
As the camp nurse you oversee the administration of the campers medication, and would be the first  contact in case of emergency. As camp nurse you can choose to have a child of your choice attend any of our camps. Meals and accommodations provided.
   
If you have acted in the capacitiy of cabin leader or LITE within the past two years, only the "Update" form is required
